The track is quite exposed in many places. But if you are fit, go in fine weather and are used to hiking this kind of elevation difference, you should be absolutely fine. The views are just breathtaking!

the turn upwards to Mt Aiken comes as the devil's punchbowl track starts to head downwards. the track is on your right and turns steeply up hill.

talk up the road and follow the path through the devil's bowl car park. look out for the orange arrow on the trees up to your left that marks where you need to cross the road to start the track

Get there early, we were there at 10 a.m. and just managed to get the last parking space. When we came back there were cars lined up for almost a kilometer along the road.
