Arklet Waterfall flows from Loch Arklet into Loch Lomond over a cascading set of rocks. From the path along the top of the water, you're afforded a bird's eye perspective of the falls as it tumbles downwards into the loch's still waters.

It's the perfect place to rest on a tough walk, or fuel up before setting off. It's quirky, characterful and serves such a delicious range of traditional Scottish foods.

Brenachoille Point is the perfect location to rest those weary legs. This grassy peninsula reaches into the glistening waters of Loch Katrine creating panoramic vistas that will take your breath away. It's a popular picnic spot and even features on the TV show Outlander.

Old military road rises above Loch Arklet and provides some gorgeous views over the surrounding landscape. The road was built in the 1700s to enable soldiers to move quickly to and from Inversaid Garrison. The panoramic mountain views along this path are sublime. You've got Maol Mor to your left, Beinn Uamha to your right and Cruinn Beinn up ahead, all enveloping the crystal clear, still waters of Loch Arklet.

Stunning place. Busy in tourist season.

A (big) walk along the lake and back with a visit to the cafe / restaurant at the pier.
