A beautiful gravel road that's well-maintained and therefore suitable for almost any bike. At the end of it, you'll find Glas Allt Shiel, one of the Balmoral Royal Bothies. It's a lovely place to spend the night, but the lawns of the Royal Lodge on the waterfront are also a great place for a picnic.

Best place to start the hike. No Vans, Camper and no overnight staying

Lovely inn with restaurant and rooms. The rooms in the courtyard are modern and clean, and the shower was big enough for me to get a few days worth of off road /bikepacking mud off of me and my cycling gear. Good breakfast, fun and lively restaurant and bar. Need more whisky choice though!
