The summit of Beinn a' Chreachain is 1,081m and offers wonderful views across Rannoch Moor. It features some impressive crags and cliffs on the northwest side.

Beinn Achaladair summit reaches 1,038m and offers great views to the hills of the Blackmount to the west. The route linking across to Beinn a' Chreachain is down the steep eastern side of the mountain but there is a path to follow and it's not technical.

The views down the hill to loch Tulla and beyond into Black Mount are vast and undulating. A good place to turn around and admire the hills on the way up.

A long and tiring tour at the end of a busy week. The way back to the valley is long and swampy.
