A long, straight dike. You have to cross over every now and then to take a look towards Wilhelmshafen.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a suitable story yet: How did this elaborate stepped gable come to Ruhwarden? You'd expect to find it in medieval coastal towns. But it's definitely worth a look nonetheless. The year 1889 is visible on the gable.
