Gamledammen 호수에 댐으로 막혔던 Kjøsterudelva 강은 협곡을 통해 격렬하게 흘러내리며 장관을 연출합니다. 폭포 중앙에 있는 사다리는 경외감을 더합니다.

이 지역의 인기 있는 수영 장소로, 선착장과 벤치가 갖추어져 있으며 Dammen 바로 위에 있습니다. 인공 호수이며, 댐이 멋진 폭포를 만듭니다. 가운데에는 다리로 연결된 두 개의 예쁜 작은 섬이 있습니다.

The DNT Fjällstation Krækkja is a full-board hostel during the season, where you can sleep and enjoy breakfast and dinner, as well as various other items during the day, such as cakes/waffles and soup. It's also a great place to take a break. Krækkja is the oldest cabin on the Hardangervidda plateau, having opened in 1879. The cabin is beautifully situated by Lake Storkrækkja with a view of Hallingskarvet. Families with children, retirees, cabin hikers, and day trippers all come here.

After descending the ropes through the gorge, there's a steep section with lots of loose rocks. I wouldn't classify this as average, but rather as difficult (and quite dangerous). The rest of the route is very scenic.

At Easter, many people enjoy hiking from hut to hut on the Hardangervidda.

There is also a swing on the old tree, but it won't be able to bear any weight anymore 🤭

Many rare plant species can be found in the area around Gyrihaugen and throughout the Mørgonga Nature Reserve, particularly alpine and heat-loving plants. One special feature is the European yew (Taxus baccata), whose flexible wood was once used for bows and crossbows 🏹

Caution when climbing through Mørgonga, especially with regard to scree. There is an acute danger of rockfall for hikers scrambling over a rock or for oncoming traffic.
