Berkeley Castle is located very closely to Dr. Jenner's Museum and St. Mary the Virgin Church in Berkeley. Very lovely place to visit with an adult ticket at the cost of £16 per person.

The section north of Monmouth on the A40 is deadly. Part of the suggested adjacent road is closed and padlocked.

Fantastic road route though Wye Valley between Chepstow and Monmouth can be busy but fairly cycling friendly.

The First Severn Bridge, completed in 1966, connects England and Wales over the River Severn. It was a monumental engineering feat, reducing travel time and promoting economic growth between the two nations. It's pretty cool to cycle over too!
