Great for all skill levels, full loop or just sections MTB or Gravel great surface and plenty to see along the way. Recommended day out with stop points and skills areas along the route. Check out cafes at Beachenhurst, Mallards Pike, mobile cafe at Cannop Ponds.

White Gates a great meeting point of a number of tracks and trails, either continue on the family trail, the sculpture trail or be a bit more adventurous on one of the others! Most of these tracks can be worked in loops of varying distance or can be used to transit to other parts of the forest 👌

Great flowing gravel tack, speedy downhill, and a nice climb with stunning scenery after much tree chopping. The impossible hairpin is fine in a nice, easy gear.

Nice meeting hub while out exploring FOD plenty of picnic benches, cafe and a great walking loop of the pond, both lower and upper sections.

Great place to see the steam trains, great vantage point from the station footbridge.

Nice steady firetrack climb alongside Mallards Pike. Plenty of single track trails from the main track if you fancy more of a challenge either up or downhill.

Nice steady fire track climb. If you fancy a challenge try one of the single track climbs, for a more direct route to Staple Edge ....enjoy. There is a climb following the distant treeline in picture 👍

Great area for a stop during your biking and hiking adventure. On the edge of Cannop ponds, with a nice van (during season) selling hot and cold food and drinks 👍

This is my favourite trail at FOD, and one I am blessed to help maintain with Dean Trail Volunteers. Just remember to ride this like any other new trail. A slow and cautious 1st run to experience the trail. A steady second run to review the trail again and then repeat the trail to gain more experience, more confidence and more fun with each descent.
