Get there whenever you see the boats leaving the docks!

Gloucester Docks is a historic area of the city of Gloucester. The docks are located at the northern junction of the River Severn with the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal. They are Britain's most inland port.

Beautiful place a must visit

Gloucester cathedral showcases 1000 years of architectural styles from Norman through to Perpendicular and even the present day as repair and rennovation continues. Pop in and admire the fan-faulted medieval cloisters, colourful Great East Window, and the decorative Lady Chapel, which houses some of the finest Arts & Crafts glass in the country.

Tea room open 10:00 - 16:00 everyday.

The marina offers 300 flood protected moorings for boats. It's on the River Avon but with easy access to the River Severn. It's a great place to have a break and watch the boast.

The Anchor Inn serves drinks, snacks and traditional pub food. Open 11:30 - 22:00.

The Pilot Inn at Hardwicke offers traditional pub food with a nice view. Open Mon to Thurs 12:00 - 22:00, Fri and Sat 12:00 - 23:00 and Sun 12:00 - 21:00. Food served Mon to Fri 12:00 - 14:30 and 17:00 - 20:30, Sat 12:00 - 21:00 and Sun 12:00 - 19:30.
