Some great places at the docks. Nice to stop for coffee and shops.

Steep ascent on the Gloucester side. Totally worth it.

Bridge over the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal just before it enters the main basin of Gloucester Docks.

The 12th-century church of St John the Baptist is known for its unusual tower, which is made entirely from wood and dates to the Tudor period, or perhaps earlier. The tower's shape makes it look like a dovecote, and gave rise to the local nickname of 'the pigeons' house'.

Having driven past it for so many years it’s worth stopping at and on this little piece of history👍steep cycle up of coming from Gloucester but worth it for the views.

This area is abundant of mistletoe never seen so much they could supply the country..

Recent owner work to hedges and ditches has left it heavily rutted/muddy. Caution recommended, particularly after rain.

A very unusual piece of architecture, worth keeping an eye out for it. There is also a tap to fill up your bidon, it's just inside the gate on the left.

A nice piece of engineering history.
