Very worth seeing cemetery

Arafia Kasparus was established in 1926. Initially, Holy Masses were celebrated in the rectory building. In 1927, a church was built thanks to contributions from parishioners. Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The construction was supervised by the servant of God, Fr. Antoni Arasmus, the first steward of the parish. Currently, the parish does not have its own parish priest, and the parish priest from Skórcz is the administrator. On the night of December 30/31, 2020, there was a church fire. Almost the entire substance of the building was destroyed. Only the outer walls of the main nave and the presbytery survived. Work is currently underway to rebuild the temple as faithfully as possible to its shape and view before the fire.

In the center of the village, next to the school, there are two small, currently unused fire station buildings (the headquarters of the Volunteer Fire Department is next to the church), and between them - a wooden tower. It was established in the 1850s; it was not used for firefighters training - there were no multi-story buildings in the village, but for drying fire hoses.

The oldest part of the city - on this side of the Wierzyca River, there used to be a farm and a village belonging to Piotr Święca. Shortly after he sold the local lands to the Teutonic Knights, in 1305, under the direction of Theodotus from Florence, they began to mark out the area for the development of a new settlement. In this way, a spatial layout was created with a regular network of streets radiating from the centrally located square market square, which is larger than the Old Town Square in Warsaw.

The current town hall building dates back to the early 19th century. Built on Gothic foundations. In 1893 it was finally rebuilt. It represents the neo-Renaissance style. It is located in the middle of the Market Square.
