We were there just after some heavy rains and the river was quite wide and deep, difficult to get the bikes through. We decided to dismount and carry the bikes over the footbridge. This would have been easy if there was not a metal post at the eastern end making it difficult, especially as one of the bikes was a very heavy electric machine.

Great place with a choice of cafes and a chippy, not to mention a pub.

Wow such needed after a hot day of hiking x Ice cream needed x Lots of little gifts inside too x got biscuit for our dog as too hot for her x

Steep ascent and descent but worth it for the wonderful views. I expect the steep grassy slopes would be very challenging or turn into bum shuffles when wet!

Very steep (near vertical) section at the top not for the faint hearted! Climbing briefly required and the rocks may be slippery if wet, some surfaces are a bit crumbly, and it is likely to be windy! But wonderful views

Fab little shop in a lovely area for hiking near Dragon's back. Open 7.30 am - 7.30 pm daily. Has a bean to coffee machine, ice creams, drinks, local craft products, and card payments are possible if you are short of cash.
