Love this climb. It twists and turns like a twisty-turny thing.

This stunning valley is a great example of what makes the Cotswolds so special. Until committing to the travelling the length of bridleway you wouldn't know it exists, with no road running through it. The valley has steep sides lined with broad-leaved trees giving it a remote feeling. In the summer the sun sets at the bottom of the valley, blanketing the land in a warm glow.

This is a lovely walk through serene countryside between Tresham and Alderley. A wide bridleway will lead you through rolling green hills dotted with sheep and trees and epic views down the valley.

Great climb. Save your energy as it goes on for a while, getting progressively steeper. There's a brief respite about 80% of the way up, but the final 50m are a killer!

Ancient Roman Road, The Fosse Way is an excellent single track path with road sections, I rode this route on the day of Storm Eunice in Feb 2022, it was gnarly but afforded a lot of shelter from the crazy winds we we're heading directly into, the trees however were a constant worry, but it seemed most of the falls had already happened earlier in the morning or perhaps the previous night. This rout is amazing and apart from a short stint on the road you can cycle from the Cirencester YHA to the Bath YHA along the Fosse. Beautiful track, good scenery, and an interesting history. The Salutation Inn is the only stopping place for food and drink, so I'd suggest a stop there if you need it, nice pub by all accounts.

A nice steady climbs with a few steep bits to battle with, but the views are worth the effort

Steepish track up but then grassy slopes and woods. Pandoramic views from the hill even if you don’t go up the tower.

A doable climb with a few step ramps (10-14%), but I prefer climbing than descending it as the surface is quite poor!

Really nice ride up the valley, doable on cx or gravel bike. Make sure to stop and appreciate the biew as you go through the gate near the top

Beautiful bridleway up through the Trensham valley. Starts gentle but has a steep finish. Stays rideable throughout the year.

Why not cycle the 28 miles from Kemble to Bath. I have done it several times with my son (the first time in August 2014, when he was 9 years old). You have to pick the track up to the south of Cotswold "International" but then it is bridleway and minor roads all the way to Bath. The Salutation is the only pub on the route (until Batheaston). There is now a cycleway between Batheaston and the Kennet & Avon canal for easy access to Bath city centre. Check it out on my Komoot profile (Dob) 15/6/2019.

A magnificent location for a magnificent monument! Stunning views and surrounding woodlands.

A lovely steady climb up from Hillesley to the monument. Never very steep (around 5%) but fairly long, it's a bit like a mini Slad Valley. A fairly quiet road, but easy for cars to pass anyway. Some fantastic views, as well as a lovely wooded section. You are rewarded with the very impressive monument when you reach the top... after you've done the final little kicker!
