One of many hare’s dotted round Cirencester. Part of a hare trail that took place a few years ago, some were sold off and a few remain.

The Still Water sculpture is no longer there. It’s been replaced with another horse sculpture by Hamish Mackie

This is fairly recent and permanent now! The same goes for the Tetbury Road entrance as well. The Barton road entrance is pass card only entrance. There are many other entrances just outside the town centre toward Stratton, Daglingworth and Sapperton. Not sure what the entrance status is l’d like to think it’s free!

The Monarch's Way is a well-known hiking / trail running route. Based on the route taken by King Charles II during the Civil War. This section is right by Cirencester Abbey and in the Town Centre. Nearby is "The Fleece" pub & restaurant, which also has some interesting history. The king is said to have stayed in room 1 while on the "monarchs way"

I didn't even spot this at first! I was busy looking at the pretty buildings! This is on the corner of a path that leads down to a riverside walk & the open-air swimming pool.

As per title, this entrance point either requires you to have a pass or pay £4. This is the only time I've been, so I genuinely don't know if this is permanent or new. Also - it is 110% worth walking away from the main "Broadway" (shown in the photo). You can really get in amongst the woodland, it's so pretty.

The remnants of a Roman wall. Access is free and unrestricted.

Cecily Hill Barracks is a former military installation that dates back to the 19th century. The barracks once played an important role during WWII, however are today used as residential properties, still retaining their distinct features, though.

Mostly hard surface with off road routes needing boots at times

A nice little cafe, a little on the expensive side. I had a sausage sandwich for £6.50, that said it was a big portion on sourdough bread and tasty. The chef bought it out and stopped and had a nice chat with us. They have a nice sized courtyard "Secret Garden" out the back and they are more than happy for cyclists to walk their bikes through the cafe and out the back, where they can be left safely, there are not many places where you can to this in Cirencester and especially on a Sunday.

This yew hedge planted in 1720 is 13.1m (43ft) high and surrounds the house belonging to Earl Bathurst.

Great waffles hidden off the main road

Park is open until 5pm. Great place for a walk with the main path gently ascending with views back to the church. Dogs are only allowed in certain places though.

The Park is open between 8am and 5pm. Dogs are only allowed in certain areas - check signs carefully, and do not take them into any woodland areas. The woodlands contain a number of rare and endangered grasses, trees, butterflies ans birds.

5* - the barista here was just brilliant. Happy to fill water bottles and serves a nice cup of coffee. On a hot day there is also Ice Cream available. Opportunity to stop and take in the spectacular St. John Baptist church.
