"The Anglican Church of St James at Coln St. Dennis in the Cotswold District of Gloucestershire, England, was built in the 12th century. It is a grade I listed building. The Church of England parish church is dedicated to Saint James the Great. The church was dedicated to Saint Katherine in the 13th century, Saint Dennis in the 18th century, and is believed to have once been dedicated to Saint Kenelm.[2] During the 18th century it may have briefly been dedicated to St Dennis. The central tower had a belfry added in the 15th century.  This was rebuilt in 1904 as part of a wider restoration by William Weir the architect for the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. The parish is part of the Chedworth Yanworth and Stowell Coln Rogers and Coln St Dennis benefice within the Diocese of Gloucester." Great place to stop for lunch. There's a gallery you can look round for free or pay to go round the whole park, which is incredible.

A countryside cafe set in the heart of the Cotswolds with a pleasant garden and covered seating area.

This road offers a lovely view of Fairford Mill, which served as a storage facility between the World Wars before being converted into residential property in the 1950s, after years of dereliction.

This is not really signposted, so look out on the map. A combination of Tarmac (one end) and dirt the rest. Even in winter months not too bad.

tour calls a sharp left immediately after turning right on to footpath; you have to run all the way down the hill before turning!

Tourists type "Cotswolds" into google maps and this is where it takes them... Be prepared to be asked for directions!

St Andrews is a wonderful ancient church, in an idyllic village setting

Great cafe. Good food choice, hot and cold. room for bikes in the back seating area. Gets busy.

Bibury is a small pretty Cotswold village in Gloucestershire. The Swan Hotel and restaurant has river side seating and serves good quality main meals, Sunday lunch, sandwiches and snacks.

Lovely Cotswold pub with bike friendly beer garden. Open daily.

The Anglican church of St Andrew at Coln Rogers is a grade 1 listed building built in the 11th century. the tower was added later with the oldest bell dating back to 1676.

The canal is slowly being restored, but not yet at Cerney Wick The round house is the old lock house.
