The Church of England parish church is dedicated to Saint James the Great. The church was dedicated to Saint Katherine in the 13th century, Saint Dennis in the 18th century, and is believed to have once been dedicated to Saint Kenelm.[2] During the 18th century it may have briefly been dedicated to St Dennis. The central tower had a belfry added in the 15th century.  This was rebuilt in 1904 as part of a wider restoration by William Weir the architect for the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. Great to Refuel & Feed the Lamas

A countryside cafe set in the heart of the Cotswolds with a pleasant garden and covered seating area.

Very popular with tourists. In particular those from Japan as apparently Emperor Hirihito once stayed in Bibury as he conducted his European tour.

tour calls a sharp left immediately after turning right on to footpath; you have to run all the way down the hill before turning!

When the sign says road closed due to flood, it is! Don't try and ride through like me.

Tourists type "Cotswolds" into google maps and this is where it takes them... Be prepared to be asked for directions!

The picturesque Arlington Row cottages in Bibury were built in 1380 as a monastic wool store. This was then converted into a row of weavers' cottages in the 17th century. The cloth produced at Arlington Row was sent to Arlington Mill on the other side of Rack Isle. The cloth was then hung on wooden timber frames on Rack Isle after being degreased at Arlington Mill.

St Andrews is a wonderful ancient church, in an idyllic village setting

Avoid Bank Holidays and summer weekends if possible, it gets very busy!

Marked as a public bridleway, but it pretty much well pristine tarmac all the way.

Bibury is a small pretty Cotswold village in Gloucestershire. The Swan Hotel and restaurant has river side seating and serves good quality main meals, Sunday lunch, sandwiches and snacks.

Normally open 9:00 - 16:00, sometimes until 17:00. Some Tue and Wed closed but depends on season. Call 01285 860048 to check. Alpaca feeding times: 11:00 - 14:30 call ahead to book and you can help feed them.

The Anglican church of St Andrew at Coln Rogers is a grade 1 listed building built in the 11th century. the tower was added later with the oldest bell dating back to 1676.
