Cowley Wood is a pretty woodland located just outside the village of Cowley in the heart of the Cotswolds. The woods are only small but provide the perfect location for a leisurely stroll with opportunities to discover a seasonal display of bluebells.

Cowley is a quintessential Cotswold village oozing charm and beauty. You can discover a number of picturesque stone cottages, a grand country estate, and a network of beautiful walking trails.

Stroll through this spacious woodland fit with vibrant greenery, towering trees, a babbling brook and a lake.

Nice easy section of gravel and field bridleway. It can get a bit confusing after exiting one the gates, head straight down to pick up gravel double width path.

The manor has since been taken over by The Experimental Group. Within the next 5 months, it will be refurbished entirely. A little bittersweet! But we're looking forward to seeing the changes.

A 12th century church and 14th century tithe barn (now converted into a house)

Woodland trail past the Girl Guide center. Can get muddy.
