Between two ridgelines on either side, this is the saddle of the Grove Hill, Blackhouse, and Crews Hill valleys. Choice of directions will dictate your footwear- but the forest paths are surprisingly dry even in Winter.

Church of St Mary Magdalene in centre of Alfrick village. Thought to date back to Alfred's time in 800s the present church was likely built in 1300s. Some lovely stonework & woodwork, clearly a well used & much loved church. Definitely worth a visit.

Opened in 1953 Alfrick Peace Memorial Hall is located in the heart of the community in Clay Green adjacent to the Village Playing Field. Completely refurbished in 2010 the hall now offers high quality facilities for the village and surrounding communities.
