Nice village and large enough to have a shop, a cafe and even a pizzeria (pizzas Fri & Sat 5-8pm only).

Scenic black and white village square overlooked by a decent pub.

Ridiculously pretty chocolate-box village. A pleasure to ride through. Also has a tea room.

One of the most scenic village greens in the county, overlooked by a cafe/deli and a grocery store if you want to stop.

Rolling through the scenic hamlet of Broxwood. Watch out for local traffic jams (horses) and road hazards (horseshit).

I’m sure it’s delicious but probably not the right fuel for a bike ride!

The Central Bakery coffee shop is a good option for a refreshment break. Opens 8.00-2.30 Mon-Sat.

Open 9.30-3.00 Mon-Fri, closed weekends.

Also a florist, if you need an emergency corsage 💐. Lovely coffee and great cakes, tray bakes & croissant as well. Bar seating just inside if the weather isn’t great or outdoor tables for the summer.

Short but sharp gradient. Only 25m bottom to top but double-figure steep.

Fantastic views eastwards across to the range of the Malvern Hills and the summit of the Beacon.

Flat but the surface is no better than average.

130m of climb from the main road towards Pencombe but the views towards Worcestershire Beacon from the top are worth it.

As a start point to our tour into Wales, we pre-booked multi day carparking online in the Coop carpark (no in store loo facilities, just the grim ones at the adjacent bus depot) Served our purpose well though.
