1월 16, 2026, Pinnacle Hill
Pinnacle Hill isn't really much of a pinnacle, but it is the highest point between the Wyche and Wynds Point, and as such is a fine viewpoint in both directions.

12월 10, 2025, Midsummer Hill Iron Age Hillfort
One of the finest hills in the Malverns with it's Iron Age Hillfort (yes another one on the Malverns!), and superb views west across Eastnor Park. It used to be heavily wooded on the Eastern Side, but Ash Die-back disease has caused a huge number of large mature Ash trees to be felled in recent times. This is still a hill to be savoured and you will not see too many people here either.

12월 4, 2024, Midsummer Hill Iron Age Hillfort
Midsummer Hill rises in the southern part of the Malvern Hills and is a very worthy objective. Site of a former hillfort, along with neighbouring Hollybush Hill, it provides extensive views, with the impressive Eastnor Castle visible in the Herefordshire countryside. A hike to the top could be combined with Herefordshire Beacon to the north, or a longer outing traversing the entire Malvern ridge.

6월 29, 2024, Midsummer Hill Iron Age Hillfort
Midsummer Hill is situated in the range of Malvern Hills that runs approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north-south along the Herefordshire-Worcestershire border. It lies to the south of Herefordshire Beacon with views to Eastnor Castle. It has an elevation of 284 metres (932 ft). To the north is Swinyard Hill. It is the site of an Iron Age hill fort which spans Midsummer Hill and Hollybush Hill. The hillfort is protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and is owned by Natural England. It can be accessed via a footpath which leads south from the car park at British Camp on the A449 or a footpath which heads north from the car park in Hollybush on the A438. The hillfort is very unusual in that the ramparts enclose two hills and the intervening valley. Bowden speculates that the spring within the valley "enhance[s] the position of the hillfort as a site of symbolic value". Source: Wikipedia

7월 24, 2021, Millennium Hill
Millennium Hill is amongst the Malvern Hills, on the border of Herefordshire and Worcestershire, effectively a subsidiary top of the Herefordshire Beacon. The earthworks of British Camp, the hill fort on the Beacon, stretch around both the top of the Herefordshire Beacon and Millennium Hill. The peak was unnamed until 2000. The Malvern Hills Conservators chose the name to celebrate the beginning of the Third Millennium and a naming ceremony was held on the 24 June 2000, six months before the new Millennium began. It was not the last peak to be named by the Conservators; two years later in 2002 they named Jubilee Hill in honour of Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee. Millennium Hill is south of the main summit of the Herefordshire Beacon but within the ramparts; the old south gate for the fort is just below.

4월 28, 2021, Chase End Hill Summit
In the south of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Chase End Hill offers fantastic views across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The 627-foot (191 m) summit sits on the county border and is marked by a trig pillar. The Geopark Way, a long-distance footpath linking geological sites together crosses the hill while the Three Choirs Way passes around its eastern edge.

Bit of a diversion off of the 'Long Route', and the ~15% climb is definitely a granny gear job. But nice views.
