Credenhill Park Wood is a gorgeous woodland area only 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from the village of Credenhill, about 5 miles (8 km) north-west of Hereford. In bygone days it was used as a Roman army depot, a medieval deer park, and it was the site of an Iron Age tribal centre. It has a number of good paths, great views of the Black Mountains, and stunning woodland flowers. It is a very popular place for local runners and dog walkers. It also is a UK-designated P100 hill with 100 metres of prominence. It rises to 725 feet (221 m) above sea level, with nice views over the Wye Valley. This is the main entrance to the woods, where there is a free car park.

The Cathedral Green is open to bikes and Church Street, leading off it to the north, has several good cafes you can stop at.

At the heart of Pembridge is the Market Hall built in around 1520.

The black and white village of Weobley was once a thriving medieval market town. Today it's a sleepy Herefordshire village but has plenty to see, with a range of historical buildings, and hints at its Saxon and Roman past. The Green Bean cafe and deli is ideal for a coffee or picnic supplies and opens Tues-Sat 0930-1500.

Set in a broad valley that stretches from the river Wye to the town of Leominster, 6 miles away, Dilwyn is a picturesque black and white village. The 12th-century village church of St Mary is a grade I listed building.

The Cider Museum holds an internationally important collection of the history of cider. Set in the old Bulmers factory with champagne cellars dating back to 1889. Adult entry £5.50 (2022). Café and shop on site. Open Mon, Thurs, Fri and Sat from 10:30 - 16:30

The location of Hereford Cathedral has been a place of worship since the 8th centaury. Parts of the present building date back as far as 1079. Nowadays as well as being a spectacular building the cathedral has a collection of chained books including the Mappa Mundi, a medievel map of the world created in about 1300.

It's nice short cut when you trying to a avoid busy Herefords road.

Lovely bridge. Definitely one of the places wich is worth to visit.

Bredwardine bridge was built in 1760. It's a nice bridge over the River Wye with easy access down to the river, great place for a break or even a swim if you fancy it!

Lovely village with variety of pubs, cafes and shops

A great place to camp. It's only £7.50 per person. The facilities are great, the bar is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. They even locked away my bike overnight. The ground is very flat and right next to the river. It's also surprisingly quiet considering it's right in the city, but you have the added bonus of shops and restaurants close by.

Weoble's wobble but they don't fall down! (You have to be of a certain age to understand that!)
