The manor house in Kruchów is an elegant 19th-century landed gentry residence nestled in a picturesque setting of fields and ancient trees. Today, although somewhat forgotten, it still exudes an atmosphere of bygone times and aristocratic tranquility. Trzemeszno is a charming town nestled among the lakes and hills of the Gniezno Lake District. Its history dates back to the times of the early Piast dynasty – it was here that the former center of the cult of St. Adalbert existed, and later became a significant landmark on the map of medieval Greater Poland. Today, Trzemeszno delights with its peaceful atmosphere, historic basilica, and atmospheric streets, inviting you to take a short stroll through history.

The water tower is a utility structure built on a hill overlooking the city, hence visible from afar. Designed in 1905, it is 41 meters high. The red brick structure of the tower is a building, under the top of which a 150 m³ water tank was installed, supplying the municipal water supply network. It was put into operation in 1906. The first renovation and modernization works were carried out a decade later. Since then, it has fulfilled its utility tasks without a hitch for decades. Renovation works, which gave the water tower its current splendor, were carried out in 1993-1994. The tower part was reconstructed and the lantern with the spire was recreated. (trzemeszno.pl)

The court is inaccessible from the inside. On the tympanum there is a Latin sentence: he who watches does not sleep.

Access from the outside. The manor house is inhabited. The library that was located inside is currently being demolished. Very friendly local people and residents, with whom you can talk :)

The Renaissance-Baroque manor house, commonly known as the palace, was built in the second half of the 16th century. Its construction is associated with the Mieliński family name, as Aleksander Mieliński, bearing the Czele coat of arms, a courtier of Sigismund Augustus, diplomat, royal secretary, and abbot of Trzemeszno, appointed in 1557 by Stefan Batory to the newly established Wendish bishopric in Inflanty, "built a castle-like tenement house for his homeland in 1582." The manor house, situated on a hill (an artificially built earth platform), was surrounded by wetlands to the east and a deep moat to the north. The walls are up to 150-160 cm thick. Around 1766, the manor house was rebuilt by Józef Rosen, who added a second story. In 1921, a columned portico was added to the front, and the façade features an arcaded arcade with a balcony. Before 1939, it was surrounded by trees, shrubs, and flower pots, and the arcaded driveway was adorned with vines.
