Ticket prices in 2024: standard ticket – PLN 40 concessionary ticket* – PLN 20 children up to 3 years of age – free (under adult supervision) ROUTE ELK – SYPITKI – EŁK (30 km) The route of the trip leads through picturesque Masurian areas, between the lakes: Selmęt Wielki and Regielskie. During the leisurely train journey, guests can admire the beautiful and wild nature, which will remain in the memory for a long time. Sypitki (rest station) is a charming small village located on the Lega (Małkiń) river, perfect for a quiet walk, during which you can visit, among others, the buildings of the former water mill or an interesting structure called the eel house. The entire journey takes 3 hours. The train travels 45 minutes one way and the same amount of time back. At the rest stop there is a 1.5-hour break with a bonfire (sticks are prepared, provisions on your own). Worth knowing: in the Sypitki area there is a point with waffles, ice cream or iced coffee. The lake looks attractive, but access is not the best. I saw a nice beach on the other side, but I don't know if it is open to the public.

In the town of Cisy itself, I did not find access to a lake with the possibility of sunbathing. Practically, either access is difficult or the area is fenced. Just something like a small bay.

A resting place in Stacznie on the Lega River. There was no sign that it was private property, so I went inside the fence and took a few photos.

Remains of the narrow-gauge railway tracks that led from Ełk to Turów. It's a pity that it's deteriorating so much. The situation is similar with the section to Zawady Tworek, which started somewhere near Brodów. There, the railway line was divided into Zawady Tworki and Turowo.
