If you walk along the Krutynia River, you are now at Lake Krutyńskie. There is a small beach and a beautiful view of the lake. A beautiful place to relax in the bosom of nature. There is also an information board for those hungry for additional education.

The Pranie forester's lodge, known as Seehorst before the war, was established around 1880. It is located in the Piska Forest (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) right by Lake Nidzkie. It goes down in history thanks to the stays of the outstanding Polish poet Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, who first came to Pranie in July 1950. He came from Warsaw for the next three years as a guest of the then forester Stanisław Popowski. In 1952, together with his wife Natalia, he made plans to permanently settle in the area of Lake Nidzkie, which was thwarted by the poet's sudden death in December 1953. In 1980, the Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński Museum was established in Pranie.

A small forester's lodge, lost in the Masurian forests, is known mainly for being the favorite place of stay of the poet Konstanty Idelfons Gałczyński. Currently, it is the artist's museum and a place of many important cultural events. The building itself is much older than the museum itself. It was built in 1880 as the seat of the local forester. The facility is located in the Piska Forest on Lake Nidzkie.

The Old Believers, also known as Filipponi, did not recognize the reforms of Patriarch Nikon introduced in the Russian Orthodox Church in the 17th century. Persecuted for their religious beliefs, they were forced to emigrate. The first Old Believers arrived in Masuria in the 1820s, initially from the Suwałki-Sejny region, later also from the interior of Russia. The history of the Masurian Old Believers is closely linked to the Wojnowo monastery. The beginnings of the monastery date back to 1836, when the elder Lavrentiy Rastropin (1762-1851) founded a small hermitage on the shores of Lake Duś. In 1847 it was transformed into a monastery, the first abbot of which was Mikhail Chavronin, and in 1849 the monastery became a branch of the famous Old Believer center in Moscow, called the Preobrazhensky Cemetery. As a result of the increasing repression of Old Believers in Russia, the Wojnowo monastery became a refuge for many persecuted. The monastery flourished most in the years 1852-1867, when Pawel Pruski (Pieter Iwanowicz Ledniew, 1821-1895) was the abbot. On his initiative, a printing house was established in nearby Pisz. In 1867 Pawel left Masuria, went to Russia and converted to monotheism, subordinate to the hierarchy of the Orthodox Church.

The new permanent exhibition at the Pranie Forester's Lodge, prepared in 2023, tells the story of the life and work of K. I. Gałczyński, his connections with Masuria, theatre, music and his relationship with his wife Natalia. The exhibition presents the poet's original memorabilia, enriched with multimedia recordings of his voice, poetry and music. The Pranie Forester's Lodge is a climatic place located in the heart of the Piska Forest, right by Lake Nidzkie, known primarily as the summer residence of the poet Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński. You can visit a small museum dedicated to his work and relax surrounded by forests and water, taking advantage of the intimate atmosphere of this place. In the season, concerts and literary meetings are organized here, which additionally emphasizes the unique character of the forester's lodge. Getting there by bike is very pleasant, but it is worth preparing for gravel and forest sections, so a trekking or cross bike will be the best.
