The Broken Bridge is a footbridge over the Tordera River, built on top of an old 'broken', broken Roman bridge. It is located next to a small Polígon del 'Pont Romà', right at the entrance to the AP7 Sant Celoni or Vallgprguina road, c61. It is a good place to park and start routes towards Montseny.

It is a beautiful Gothic bridge built between the 14th and 15th centuries that allows you to cross the Tordera river while following the old Via Augusta or Cami Ral. In 1811, during the French War, one of its main arcades was destroyed in order to hinder the passage of the invading Napoleonic troops. It wasn't until 2003 when the Gothic bridge was restored and completed with a metallic steel structure that evokes the original form.
