El Real de San Vicente is located at the foot of the mountain range from which it takes its name, in a prime setting for outdoor activities. Its location is associated with military settlements in the 11th and 12th centuries. Remains of its millennia-long occupation are preserved in the village.

Celtic Ruin San Vicente

This fortress of Roman origin was also used by the Arabs and finally taken over by Alfonso VI of Castile. Located at a strategic point next to the Alberche river between Ávila and Toledo, it contains an imposing 22-meter-high keep and a Mudejar palace inside.

It is a Gothic castle with a Mudejar interior palace. It is strategically located on a plateau that borders the Alberche River between Ávila and Toledo. Today it is in ruins although it has been partially restored. It is privately owned. It has splendid views.

Located at one of the extreme points of the Community of Madrid, this town is known for its vineyards and natural beauty. The Camino de Santiago del Sureste passes from Alicante, Cartagena, Murcia, Valencia, Albacete and Toledo. Throughout the entire town you will be able to see beautiful granite stone fountains for public use.

Initially conceived as a Roman fortress, it was later taken over by the Muslims to finally come under the orders of Alfonso VI of Castile and became a Gothic castle with a Mudejar-style interior palace. It is worth visiting inside and appreciating this interesting contrast of architectural styles, admission is free.

The marked circular route of the Cabeza del Oso and Pelados trail has a total length of 15 kilometers, starting from the village of El Real de San Vicente and crossing one of the most picturesque areas of Toledo. This section of the trail, just under a kilometer long, runs alongside the Bonal slope and crosses a beautiful landscape where, depending on the time of year, you'll enjoy a varied palette of colors in the tree foliage.
