Average quality, but oh so beautiful. Road along the Barranco del Enebro

We wanted to climb this road but after the olive grove we came across a big gate. Reversed.

Road is of moderate quality, stay alert.

Nice views on the curved roads and sandy rocks.

Although the road is marked as a gravel road on the map, in practice the path is quite rough for the gravel bike, more like a mountain bike path. Cycling uphill, especially at the bottom of the climb, will be technical. On Between the bottom of the mountain and the main road is an orchard with a bridge over the river. The bridge is narrow and sturdy, but also wobbly. All in all a nice option for the adventurers among us.

Cabra del Santo Cristo is located in the Sierra Mágina, a massif that exceeds two thousand meters in height. The town is located in a hollow, surrounded by mountains and on one of the slopes that reach the Rambla del Royo.

There is a junction just before Hornos de Peal. Both lead to the same place. The upper road is easier to drive on, the lower one is more difficult but more beautiful.

The pistachio tree (Pistacia vera) or simply pistachio is a species of plant within the sumac family (Anacardiaceae). To distinguish it from the other species of the pistachio genus (Pistacia), it is more precisely called the real pistachio and its stone fruit pistachio. The deciduous pistachio grows as a tree or as a shrub and reaches heights of up to 12 meters and lives to be over 300 years old. In culture, however, it is kept significantly smaller. The roots can extend to a depth of 15 meters.
