Codesal is a small hamlet in the heart of the Sierra de la Culebra. On the outskirts is the old cemetery. In this cemetery, an imposing oak tree survives generations of inhabitants, surely one hundred years old, which has become an emblem of the town.

Located in the Aliste region, on the slopes of the Sierra de la Culebra, an area inhabited since prehistoric times. Sarracín de Aliste is a small town on the train route from Madrid to Galicia. In the village you can see good examples of typical stone houses.

Villardeciervos is a small town located in the Sierra de la Culebra de Zamora. The town was declared a historical-artistic complex in 1987 due to its traditional constructions, most of them made of local stone.
