It's worth it, it's a Cistercian monastery

It's always a pleasure to cross this bridge that leads us to the Viñes Pastry Shop along the main street. The Borratxo is incredible, one of the best.

Good routes to ride

The Monastery of Santa María de Santes Creus is a Cistercian abbey built in the 12th century. The grandeur of the monastery is due to the donations received from the nobility who wanted to be buried here.

The Vallespinosa castle is located in the upper part of the town, dominating the forty houses that make it up. It is possible that the fortification dates from the 11th century, although today it is in a state of ruin.

Medieval bridge (12th century) with four eyes that crosses the channel of the Francolí river. Throughout its history it has undergone numerous reforms due to floods.

No water comes out of the original fountain, made of cement and with a plaque with the relief of a bird and its name. Just behind is the new fountain, done in red brick and tile.

Cabra del Campo, as it is called in Spanish, is to the north of the Alto Campo region and on the border with the Barberá Basin. It has more than 1,250 inhabitants and its economy is based mainly on rainfed agriculture.
