The Parador de Sto. Domingo Bernardo de Fresneda consists of 3 parts: the church, the studio-museum and the hotel.

The town consists of a relatively new section south of the Matarrana River and the original historic town on the other bank. The old city is built on a relatively steep hill. At the top is the beautiful Castillo (castle) de Valderrobres.

At this point in the town of Valderrobres we find this beautiful medieval bridge. It is not allowed to cross it by bicycle, so we will have to push it a few meters but we can take the opportunity to take a picture.

LaFresneda is a town located on the side of a hill dominated by an old castle where some walls and a tower still remain, called Castillo de la Fresneda. There is also a hermitage, that of Santa Bárbera.

The castle-palace of Valderrobres is a construction that is located in the highest part of the town. This can be seen on the way to Valderrobres and is a 12th century castle, but it is even believed to be earlier.

The church of Santa María is one of the greatest exponents of Gothic architecture in Aragon and is connected to the Valderrobres castle-palace, which is also Gothic.

The station is in a spectacular location and relatively well preserved. Very easy access from the N-420 at the junction to go to Valljunquera. Ideal for walking along the greenway or for cycling along the route.
