The Ledesma Bridge over the Tormes River, in the province of Salamanca, is a historic structure that forms part of the rich heritage of this medieval town. Old Ledesma Bridge Location: It crosses the Tormes River at the entrance to the town of Ledesma. Construction: Although it is believed to have existed in Roman times, the current bridge was built in the 15th century, during the reign of Beltrán de la Cueva. New Bridge Construction: Inaugurated on July 24, 1954, after decades of planning interrupted by the Spanish Civil War. Material: Cyclopean concrete.

A beautiful path that connects the towns of Almenara and Juzbado. Along the way we will enjoy impressive views of the banks of the Tormes River, we will also find several bronze plaques with various poems by one of the Spanish poets: Antonio Gamoneda.

Galindo y Perahuy conserves its Parish Church of Santo Tomás Apóstol in a good state of conservation: It is a construction that dates from the year 1835. Inside we can contemplate a painting of the Most Pure Virgin and that it is said that it could have previously been in an Augustinian convent in the town of Miranda de Pericalvo.

Ledesma still preserves a large part of the granite stone wall that has historically surrounded the Villa in its entirety. Most of what remains today was built in the time of Fernando II de León, in the 12th century, although it was in the 15th century when several canvases with well-carved masonry were renovated.
