The climb has a good asphalt surface, without too much elevation change, and it is worth noting the existence of a detour via an unpaved road from kilometer 9.3 to Sumarcárcel, which we have discarded due to not knowing its condition, given the rains of the previous days.

Spectacular descent along the Chocolatero path

The so-called Ceja del Río Grande is the side of the river that runs along the road that bears the same name. This is a route of exceptional beauty that allows you to appreciate the impressive mass of forests and pine groves and aromatic bushes of the aforementioned river. An extraordinary orchard, with an impressive biodiversity, the Río Grande welcomes the wild fauna that enters Quesa from the Barranco del Lobo and comes to the river to quench its thirst.

After climbing a relatively easy ramp on the path, you come across a 4m cliff next to the highway. It can be dangerous if you don't know the area. The rest of the trail is very fun, except for some very steep and technical climbs where it is necessary to get off the bike.
