The Janowskie Forest Uroczyska is an area protected under the EU Natura 2000 program. It is an area of special natural values with an area of over 34,000. ha. There are 6 nature reserves within the area: Jastkowice, Lasy Janowskie, Imielty Ług, Szklarnia, Kacze Błota and Łęka. The Historical Trail runs here.

The Biłgoraj horse refuge in Szklarnia is the only such place on the map of Poland. These are horses descended from wild horses living in Europe. They resemble Polish horses to a large extent, but they are not the same breed. The Czartosowa River flows through the refuge and is a natural watering hole for these beautiful animals.

Porytowe Wzgórze is a place commemorating soldiers who died here in battle on June 14, 1944. It is located in the Janowskie Forests nature reserve. The reserve itself was created in 1984 to protect mixed forests in a place commemorating the largest battle of Polish and Soviet partisans against the Nazi invader on Polish lands.

The first viewpoint on the educational and nature trail in the Imielty Ług reserve. It is a nature reserve located in the Lasy Janowskie Landscape Park, established in 1988 to protect areas of extensive marshes, overgrowing water reservoirs with rare and protected vegetation, constituting a bird sanctuary, typical of the Solska Forest. To get to this viewpoint, turn left near the wooden chapel of St. Franciszek.

The Szklarnia Nature Reserve was established in 1989 to protect the characteristic elements of the former Solska Forest, including mainly stands of natural origin with a significant share of silver fir. There is an educational path within the reserve, which starts at the Janów Lubelski - Szklarnia road, about 3 kilometers from Janów. There you will find a tourist shelter and 20 educational boards. The reserve is located in the Janowskie Forests Landscape Park.
