Well, it's a lake only in name... a small reservoir near Miały, but the area is nice and probably looks more interesting in the summer.

Not much to see on the outside, there is some information outside the castle and also near the rest area across the road.

The Opaliński Castle Museum in Sieraków is housed in the rebuilt southern wing of a former fortress from the late 14th century, once owned by the Nałęcz family, and later the Opaliński family. The current building was rebuilt in the 1990s to house, among other things, the Opaliński family sarcophagi discovered in 1991. Exhibitions present the history of the Sieraków region – from archaeological finds to the present day. The building is located in the city center, near the Warta River, making it a good stopover on a cycling route. It's worth visiting the interior to see the historic coffins and learn about the region's history.

This is the Franciszek Graś Museum of the Drawsko-Notecka Forest. It houses natural, ethnographic, and historical exhibitions.

The palace complex was built by Johann Gottlob Treppmacher in 1766 on the site of an earlier fortress. Since 1958, it has housed a school – currently the Józef Noji Primary School No. 2.

Szamotuły Castle is a restored residence with Gothic and Renaissance roots, located in a historic park in the northern part of the city. The complex includes Halszka Tower, associated with the dramatic story of Elżbieta Ostrogska, imprisoned here for 14 years. The castle houses a museum with regional and historical exhibitions, and a walk through the park allows you to see relics of the old fortifications. The facility is located close to the city center and is easily accessible by bike - a must-see for anyone interested in the history of Wielkopolska.
