This 192-meter-high peak lies at the westernmost end of the Munarrikolanda Mountains. This mountain range is an important megalithic site stretching between the Saierri and Munarrikolanda mountains and contains a total of seven monuments (burial mounds and dolmens).

Very easy and quite enjoyful hike with great view of Bilbao city at several point that reaches the top at a great spot to have a snack. Beautiful return through a different path across a pine tree forest and small trek to Gangoiti and Atxarte peaks.

A spectacular route. They have removed the support cable for the ascent and descent to the top of Gallarraga, which makes it dangerous. You can ascend and descend through the back, which, although hard, is not dangerous. The goal is to enjoy and return home to continue enjoying.

The top of Mount Gallarraga is 901 meters high. To get to the top, you have to deviate a little less than a kilometer from the GR 123 and make a steep climb of 200 meters. However, the effort is worth it, as magnificent views await you at the top.

Mount Avril or Iturritxualde is a mountain in Bilbao located to the west of the Ganguren, in the so-called Cordal de Gangurengana. This, along with other peaks such as Pagasarri, marks the border between the Txorierri valley and Bilbao. From this point, the views of Bilbao and neighboring Txorierri are spectacular.
