The bullring of the city of Béjar, in the province of Salamanca (Spain), better known as La Ancianita, is the oldest bullring preserved in Spain, inaugurated in 1711.2 Located on the Castañar mountain next to the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Castañar, two kilometers from Béjar.3

At a distance of just 2 km from the Collado de Los Buitres mountain pass, a good area to enjoy nature and breathe fresh air.

One of the many jewels offered by the Sierra de Candelario, the Navamuño Reservoir combines perfectly with the landscape that surrounds it.

Located on the outskirts of Béjar in the middle of the Sierra de Candelario forest, this magnificent Sanctuary was built after the apparition of the Virgin in 1496. It is a very picturesque building and it is also worth visiting inside.

Very close to the Cuerpo de Hombre river and the border with the Extremadura region, this beautiful and picturesque peat bog offers an ideal place to take a break and appreciate this magnificent landscape of the Sierra de Candelario.

The views from the dam towards the reservoir are postcard. On clear days you can fully appreciate this wonderful landscape that is worth visiting!

Peña Negra is one of those challenging but highly rewarding peaks. The views from its top at 1634 meters above sea level are truly amazing and you will have 360 degree panoramic views of the entire Sierra de Candelario Natural Area, including the Navamuño Reservoir.

Nice valley in the heart of the Sierra de Candelario with beautiful views. If you are on your way to the top of Torreón from here the journey becomes quite demanding and through technical sectors, go carefully and firmly to enjoy this beautiful place!
