Commemoration of the fallen of the First World War

a little hidden, but interesting

In 2001/2002, the largest Linear Pottery culture settlement in northern Bavaria was excavated on the outskirts of Buchbrunn. It existed from 5200 to 4900 BC. A replica of the Linear Pottery culture longhouse was built on the grounds of the local school. It is not only suitable as a demonstration object, but also serves as an activity area for school classes, children, and young people. (Source: https://www.kitzinger-land.de)

Actually, it's a nice little circular trail with lots of interesting information about wine and winemaking. However, the information signs are quite dirty, which makes reading difficult. Unfortunately, I didn't find the lower part of the trail all that great, as it runs very close to the main road, and I found the road noise quite distracting. The upper part of the trail is very beautiful. Here, I was delighted to see many wild bees that have made their home under the hedge on the hillside. The beautiful panoramic view is always there to enjoy.
