Upon arrival at Meson los Prados on Wednesday, May 3, I unfortunately found out that this catering facility is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Don't know if that's the case all year round.

The summit, located at an altitude of 1,485 meters, has an Infoca surveillance post and a beautiful panoramic viewpoint.

To take advantage of the abundance of resin pines in the area, the locals created a small colony in the 20th century dedicated to the extraction of natural resin. Here there was formerly a chapel, a school and houses that were part of the factory premises. Currently there is the information point La Resinera.
