Fontecha de la Peña is a town with less than 20 inhabitants. It is not far from Respenda de la Peña. It is absolutely charming when covered in a blanket of snow.

At the beginning of the majestic Picos de Europa, this small town is surrounded by small rivers that offer water but also bathing to the local inhabitants. In the past it was also a good place for fishing.
