A quick update for all hikers: the bridge is intact and passable. A maximum of two people are allowed on it at a time. Enjoy hiking through the beautiful landscape, right by the water! 🥾🥰 (As of May 31, 2025)

Hello, the bridge has been repaired properly. Many thanks to the hard-working craftsmen. It's definitely worth taking the circular walk, and especially in the area in front of and around this bridge, you can observe and hear a lot of birds. In addition to swans and geese, we also heard reed buntings, sedge warblers, and yellow wagtails. This was actually the most beautiful part of the hike.

The bridge has been repaired, the Danish sign is still there, but the bridge is accessible as usual (as of 24.04.25).

Currently only accessible by wading (water is about hip-deep for adults)

Unfortunately it's still broken at the moment. Almost the entire path is overgrown, making it difficult for dogs walking along the path to avoid getting to the electric fence, which stretches over a very long distance.

Unfortunately, one side of the bridge is broken and you have to walk through knee-deep water.

Here you'll find an exhibition dedicated to the area's "birds in the meadows." There are several interactive walls. Unfortunately, everything is only available in Danish and there are no translations, but it's still impressive how many bird species are native here.
