San Pascual Baylón, also known as Pascual Bailón, is a saint venerated in the Catholic Church. He was born on May 16, 1540 in Torrehermosa, Aragon, and died on May 17, 1592 in Villarreal, Valencia. He is known for his devotion to the Eucharist and is the patron saint of Eucharistic congresses and cooks. In Albarracín, one of the points of interest related to San Pascual Baylón is the Peirón de San Pascual de Baylón. This peirón is one of the few remaining and is located on the route that passes by the Hermitage of Our Lady of Carmen and the walls of Albarracín. It is a place of devotion and a reference point on the hiking routes in the area.
