The Marmore waterfall is the highest artificial waterfall in Europe and among the highest in the world, with a total drop of 165 m divided into three falls.

In view of this small wayside shrine, which its builders dedicated to the Madonna, I would like to offer the viewer a brief reminder from Saint Padre Pio (Pio da Pietrelcina, 1887 to 1968): "Always remain close to this Heavenly Mother, for she is the sea that must be crossed to reach the shores of eternal splendor."

Beautiful waterfalls always a little too crowded but worth it. I recommend starting the hike from the lower viewpoint
