The marsh and the Albufera should be visited at different times of the year, following the rhythm of rice cultivation. The landscape changes completely: the "perellonà", the "fanguejà", the sowing, the flooding, the green of the shoots, the yellow of the ear, the harvest, the dry reeds, etc. And always with the charm of the marsh birds.

The paths in the park are very dusty, and the road along it (tip: take the train back!) is very busy, but pleasant.

The Senda Botánica La Murta is a hiking route marked SL-CV 81, located in the Valle de la Murta, near Alzira, Valencia. This trail is part of a circular route that also includes the Senda Histórica (SL-CV 82) and other trails. The route begins in the La Murta car park and passes by several points of interest, such as an old lime kiln, the Fuente de la Murta, the aqueduct and the Monastery of Santa María de la Murta.

El Palmar is an island surrounded by marshland and Albufera, with many restaurants serving good Valencian cuisine.

Yes, the El Palmar can be recommended, the back (see photo) is more pleasant than the part facing the street.

Not so great to drive in strong winds (if it's not coming from behind). The asphalt is not that good everywhere south.

From the top of La Creu the views are spectacular wherever you look.

Parc Natural Albufera. You will find rice fields, indigenous trees, a diversity of birds, authentic fishermen's houses and the largest lake in Spain. There are picturesque villages around where you can eat the traditional "Paella Valenciana".
