5 euros is so worth it! Super relaxed in winter, not much going on but still wonderful. Incredible nature. Watch out for snakes, they are definitely there and like to sun themselves on the rocks. Breathtakingly beautiful when the sun is shining!

These caves were not only a safe haven in times of war, but also housed a millstone, an oven and a press that allowed people to survive there for long periods of time. Just the idea that these caves once secured the life of a community gives them a special historical significance. The path there is adventurous and leads through a rough but beautiful landscape. From the cave entrance you have an impressive view of the sea, which beautifully sets off the contrast between the rough rocky landscape and the calm, blue waters of the Mediterranean. As you explore the caves you will discover the traces of times gone by that are carved in stone here. A real highlight for hikers who are equally enthusiastic about history and nature.

The hike along the coast offers constantly changing views of the turquoise sea and the rugged rocky landscape. There are small bays along the way that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling - so don't forget to pack your bathing suit! The path is well signposted and also suitable for families with children. However, there is hardly any shade, so it is advisable to take enough water and sunscreen with you. I was glad to have started early to avoid the biggest crowds. Nevertheless, some beaches were well visited even in the off-season. I particularly liked the variety of plants along the way. There are even small museums that offer an insight into local culture and history. Entry to the reserve costs €5, which is absolutely fine considering the well-maintained paths and the unique nature.
