To the south of Moncayo (2,316 m), and very close to the town of Talamantes, is the path that goes up this entire ravine.

The minerals that dissolve in the water corrode the iron tube of the borehole, creating a curious reddish cone shape around it. It is located in the catalog of Places of Geological Interest (LIG) of Aragon, with the protection regime that this implies.
