Crossing the village on the road, we can see a series of mural paintings, imitating famous paintings by Picasso, which the children of the village painted in the summer of 1981, on the occasion of the celebration of the centenary of his birth. The murals we see are the result of restoration in 2014, due to the effect of inclement weather on the initial paintings.

It is one of the three that preserves the wall of Almazán, of the seven gates that the enclosure originally had. The name of the villa comes from Arabic and means "the fortified".

In the Plaza Mayor there are several buildings of interest: the statue of Diego Laínez and the town hall, the palace of the Hurtado de Mendoza family and the church of San Miguel. In 2011 the square was reformed, a cantilevered viewpoint was added with views over the Duero river, a pedestrian route, around the church and the Town Hall, through walkways, flown elements, etc.
