Gothic bridge from the 15th century that crosses the Riera Major. Located in a very beautiful enclave in the heart of Les Guilleries.

The Sau reservoir collects the waters of the River Ter at the foot of the Guilleries massif. When the reservoir was created in the sixties, the town of Sant Romà de Sau was flooded. Today you can still see the bell tower of the church jutting out of the water, creating an enchanted picture.

It is believed that this Romanesque church was built in 937, being rebuilt in the 11th century. After some earthquakes in the area, the bell tower was rebuilt in the XV.

The Pont Vell de Roda or old bridge of Roda is of medieval origin. In 1652 it was restored and in 1876 the arches were added. It has always been significant that a church was built on each side of the bridge: the church of Sol del Pont and the church of Sant Pere.
