Lake above the village of Viverone

The trail now appears almost completely abandoned. The observatory is a rickety wooden structure. It's not worth it.

When you need to rest for a while this place is great, a little crowded during summer weekends.

Village that was once defended by walls and a tower, to protect from enemy attacks. Today we can see some houses, the remains of these walls, and a beautiful view of Lake Viverone

Lake that takes its name from the Bertignano di Viverone hamlet, quite large but not as much as Lake Viverone (third among the largest lakes in Piedmont). In the northern part there are many pylons that make the environment a bit ugly. It is possible to do a circular tour on foot, on roads that run along the entire lake.

Small village above Roppolo, and from here it is possible to reach the Roc della Regina and Mount Orsetto, with an easy walk

Access point to the Roppolo castle. Inside it is possible to visit it with a guide from April to October, while we can access the panoramic terrace overlooking Lake Viverone
