The Gaaden Uphill is one of the official routes to the Anninger summit. The trail follows a wide forest road throughout and is only moderately steep, but it still feels long. It's definitely less crowded than the Anninger Uphill itself, so perhaps it's the better option.

Now known as the "Black Sheep," it once again boasts a small but fine menu. Open Thursdays to Sundays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., but only in good weather. It's usually closed when it rains.

Heiligenkreuz Abbey, with its significant history and beautiful buildings, is worth a visit. Many parts of the abbey can only be visited with a guided tour. The squares and churches are freely accessible.
