Yes, in some places the road (I would describe it more as a farm track) has a few potholes. But if you know how to steer your bike, you can easily avoid them. You are compensated with little traffic and great views of Mallorca's gardens...

Santa Maria is a frequent destination for cyclists from the north/northwest. There are good cafes and the legendary coffee and 💯 cakes. But the service has deteriorated and they are no longer as cyclist friendly, I think. It was better until 2-3 years ago, I think the owner has changed☕️🚴🏼♂️🚴🏻♀️🚴🏻🚴♀️🚴🏻♀️🚵🏻♂️🚴🏼♂️

Huge selection of cakes, if there are no more seats in the front and you ask nicely, you can push your bike through the kitchen area into the courtyard. There is another sun terrace there.

The road is the Camí des Raiguer. The road, from the Alaró turnoff, in the Inca direction, has many potholes and holes on the ground. I wouldn't recommend it for a road bike. It is good for a bicycle touring, trekking or even mountain biking.

This type of narrow roads between walls of cultivated fields is the best thing about getting lost in Mallorca by bicycle. Driving along these types of roads immerses you in the Mallorcan culture and is much better than the main roads.

This beautiful old windmill is now a restaurant serving wonderful food. Even if you don't visit it to eat, it's still a great sight as you ride by.
